Whether you live in the area or you are traveling here and would like to get out on the water, you have found a guide with a great knowledge base within a broad fishing area. Open water fishing trips are available for all skill levels and groups of all sizes in most places found on the map above.

Take a look at our trip overviews below!

CATCH AND RELEASE MUSKIE TRIPS

One of the most sought after fish in our area is the muskellunge. Nicknamed "the fish of 10,000 casts", they are an elusive predator at the top of the food chain that require patience to catch.

They can be caught in casting or trolling in lakes or rivers from when the season opens in late spring until the end of November. Water temps, weather patterns, and river levels all factor into planning a day-specific trip to better your odds of catching one.

Most of my personal fishing time is spent chasing these fish, it's a thrill every time you catch one and it never gets old! As a high-end muskie tackle maker, you will be using some of the finest gear available for fishing muskies, including weedless bucktails and baitcast flies found nowhere else that will add the entire experience.

LARGEMOUTH BASS TRIPS

Some of the most enjoyable fishing of the year is for largemouth bass. In springtime, the weeds are down and the temps are rising and hungry spawned-out fish are on the feed. Summertime heat pushes fish deep or toward shade. My favorite is working through thick vegetation and pulling in bucketmouths. I have some very underfished spots that I frequent for great size and numbers.

SMALLMOUTH BASS RIVER TRIPS

Although a few lakes have some smallmouth bass, most are found in the rivers. Enjoy the wild scenery while floating your way down the river and casting seemingly endless structure. They are a great fish to target in the warm water months. These fish are full of fight and can be caught on a wide variety of lures. Travel in the jet boat to some great places that see limited pressure.

MULTI-SPECIES/NORTHERN PIKE TRIPS

Northern Pike are often mixed in with the bass and muskies in the lakes or rivers. Though they can come incidentally, they are fun to catch and are also targeted. Springtime has them mixed in with the largemouth bass and feasting on spinners and plugs. Summertime pushes them deep onto structure for casting divers or trolling. Dropping fall temps put them on the feed right alongside the muskies.

PANFISH TRIPS

Before the weather warms up too much in the springtime, panfish are schooled up in the shallows. It's a great way to get rid of some cabin fever and get outside with the family or friends. Action is often pretty fast and is always a good time using the ultralight tackle.
