The X Changer Bucktails offer plenty of versatility, complete with strength and function. Interchangeable parts offer complete freedom to adjust your presentation for situational fishing. This Standard Size is built with .043" wire and is about 9" long from eyelet to the tips of the hackles. Materials are tied onto a coil and paired with a 1/2 oz keel weight and the adjoining wire is ended off with horizontal eyelets. The hook is also easily exchangeable. The standard pairing is a 5/0 VMC 9626 O'Shaughnessy treble which includes clear vinyl tubing for rigidity. This can be slid up the shaft of the hook and over the rear split ring to prevent hinging. Weedless and dressed hooks are also available options. Dressed hooks can be swapped in and out for 'pop color' accents and are also available in weedless (all dressed varieties are available separately in our SPECIALTY HOOKS section).
Total weight is 1.2 Oz with either surface blade type. Weight varies slightly based on options selected. Elevated patterns are priced on time and materials.
