Here it is - the Neutralizer Castable Fly...
This build features three independent sections that are EACH keel weighted and buoyant. The rear or 'tail' section actually floats while the front two sections are stock built with a super slow sink. All together they function as a neutral presentation which is an ultra-slow sink with MAXIMUM hang time and a tail that kicks up after every pulse through the water.
For this ABSOLUTE GEM of a castable fly, the construction was shrunk down by 1" for each section and two glass rattles were packed into the foam core. Marabou replaces the tinsel skirt on this build as the main body of each section which has more water weight for casting, and more lift/drag in the water. Going the extra mile by casing each section in marabou not only makes it have superior function, but also an incredible life-like aura in the water. I PROMISE YOU, THESE ARE AMAZING!
These can be fished as a 12" profile with all three connected sections. Remove the front section and create two fishable flies - a 4" single section fly and an 8" jointed fly! Spare sections also function as a more buoyant bucktail body with similar uses to our X Changer Bucktails with various functioning attachments. The possibilities are endless - match what the fish want and dial it in!
Compatible interchangeable parts also include the Snap-On Weights that connect to the split rings at any section - to apply just the right amount of sink at the right spot on the bait for situational fishing. Add a 'pop color' to the tail with dressed hooks in various colors (visit the SPECIALTY HOOKS section for these). Hand-tied weedless hooks are an option on these flies for those who desire it. For those who like to have a head or eyes for the fish to hone-in on, there are optional Foam Bait Heads that are easily attached with a Double-Lok Snap or can be drawn tight by pulling a split ring through the nose.
These soft materials are still working their magic when the bulk of the bait comes to a pause - an absolute trigger for the muskies!
Each thread wrap at the head of each section is 4X coated with UV Fly Resins and glitter for a durable, hard shell.
Total dry weight of 1.7 oz. (Wet weight for casting is approximately more than double that)
